Why give?

  • we never say no

We believe that financial concerns or insurance should never stand in the way of receiving the care you need during times of loss. Your generous donation enables us to provide bereavement support to every family who turns to SilverLeaf, ensuring no one is turned away.

  • training

Our team of providers are certified in Perinatal Loss Care (CPLC), and we prioritize ongoing education to ensure we’re offering the highest level of support to our families. One of our core goals is to train as many providers as possible, expanding access to this crucial care and meeting the growing demand for specialized support during such a sensitive time.

  • Support groups

We offer regular support groups for fathers, grandparents, friends, and coworkers, creating a compassionate space where individuals can connect, share experiences, and find support during difficult times. Whether navigating the challenges of loss, adjusting to life changes, or simply seeking a sense of community, our groups offer a safe, non-judgmental environment for healing.

  • retreats

When possible, we offer retreats designed to support the healing journey of our families through community, mindfulness, and wellness practices. These retreats provide a restorative space where participants can engage in activities such as yoga, Reiki, and other healing modalities, all aimed at fostering emotional well-being and connection. Our retreats offer a unique opportunity to step away from the stresses of daily life, find solace in shared experiences, and deepen the healing process in a peaceful and supportive environment.

  • a safe space

We are committed to continuously expanding and enhancing The Sweeney Center to provide even more comprehensive services for those in need. Our ongoing efforts focus on broadening the range of support we offer, ensuring that families and individuals receive the highest quality care. As we grow, we aim to better meet the evolving needs of our community, creating more opportunities for healing, connection, and well-being.
